Our Birth Center
Our spacious, comfortable Birth Center is a two level building located near downtown Boise. We are conveniently located on the corner of Washington and Fort, about three blocks north of the St. Luke’s Hospital. It is easy to get here from any direction!
Our birth center is a place of community. In addition to regularly scheduled classes, we also host special events related to nutrition, pregnancy, birth, parenting and breastfeeding.
LOWER LEVEL
Prenatal and postpartum visits take place on the lower level of the birth center, where we have a cozy waiting room, a small retail area, two rooms that feel like home for visits and ultrasounds, and our breastfeeding clinic.
UPPER LEVEL
Upstairs is reserved for birth and offers a simple, home-like atmosphere with lots of natural light. It features two birth suites, a living room, the midwives’ office, a kitchenette and our wellness exam room. Each birth suite has a private bathroom, comfortable bed, seating and its own large tub so that families can labor or birth in the water.
PARKING
We share a parking lot with our next-door neighbor, the St Luke’s Breast Cancer Detection Center. Parking spaces for regular office visits can be found near the front entrance of the building and on the side of the lot closest to the birth center. We ask that parking spaces at the back of the building be reserved for on-call midwives and laboring families.
